WORKING EXPERIENCE:

30 years experience as a teacher of foreign languages in British secondary schools. She has taught both French and Spanish to GCSE level and Spanish to A level. She also has experience of teaching adults at evening classes. Her last school, Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, was a specialist language college, where the focus was motivating pupils to learn languages with the help of modern technology. It also involved cultural awareness of the language studied and Ros organised many school trips abroad and initiated 2 successful exchanges. The first was between Newcastle and Málaga in the 1980s and the most recent was last year, 2005, between Altrincham and a school in Barcelona.
She now lives with her husband in Sanlúcar.
